It is a public spring but not sure if it's accessible for free. As it is a part of the Bendigo State park, there may be some fee to enter their premises. The park is open from 8 am to 6 pm every day. There are only a few human settlements near the spring. It is not safe for anyone to go and fetch water from the spring after sunset.
