Description
910 acres are located in the desert, not far from the main road. They can be found on the southern side of Anza Borego Desert State park. AguaCaliente County Park provides day and overnight visitors with three hot springs pools, plenty of hiking, camping, and relaxing moments. It was once a stop along the Butterfield Stage Coach route where settlers could rest before continuing their journey. The park is managed by San Diego County. It has been a popular spot for friends and families to enjoy outdoor recreation.

There are two indoor and one outdoor natural mineral hot spring pools to meet everyone's soaking requirements. The outdoor pools are suitable for both children and adults. The indoor therapeutic spa, which is enclosed in glass, has jacuzzi-style water jets and 102*. It can also be used by adults only.
You can also find locker rooms, private changing areas and spring-fed heated baths. Lounge chairs are available for relaxation on the decks. The miles of trails will be a treat for hikers. You can find a small convenience store near the park entrance. However, it is recommended that you bring lots of water and your own snacks. Next, relax and take a dip!
No matter if you're camping or RVing, this site has you covered. There are approximately 140 campsites. 30 RV spots have hookups. A large area is available for group gatherings. There are different fees so check with the park. Holidays can prove very busy and reservations are necessary.
Agua Caliente county park is approximately 111 mi from San Diego. Turn East from Interstate 8 and take the Ocotillo exit. Take Highway S2 North for 22 miles, and you will reach the park's entry.
