Umpqua Hot Springs

McCredie hot springs is 50 miles from Eugene and eight miles east of Oakridge. There are several hot spring-fed pools located adjacent to the Willamette Highway on either side of Salt Creek. The season determines the number of silt-bottomed, shallower and wider pools that are suitable for soaking.
It is well-known that pool temperatures can fluctuate. Before you dive in, make sure to use a thermometer!
McCredie was a former location of a resort and baseball team. McCredie is within the Willamette National Forest's boundaries, on the north and south banks Salt Creek (a Willamette Rivertributary).
On-site is a small, paved parking lot with a toilet. McCredie hot springs can be visited for free and are only available for day-use. You can wear clothing, but nighttime closures are required.
