Horse Creek Hot Springs

Directions: West Conner, MT, 45 Miles. Highway 93 South takes you from Missoula into Conner. Turn right onto State Highway 473 (follow the signs to Painted Rocks State Park, and continue past it) for 31 mi to West Fork Road junction. Take Woods Creek Road marked for hot springs about 14 miles to Horse Creek Campground.
Features: There are many pools that flow into Horse Creek. One pool, which is approximately three feet deep, has a wooden enclosure around it. It also contains the source for the springs. From the Woods Creek junction to Woods Creek, most trees were burned by the fire. While the road is suitable for all cars, there are many trees that have been burned on the route which could make it difficult to navigate in a windstorm.

Temperature: Horse Creek has two pools that are approximately 100 degrees below the source. You can cool off by taking a swim in the creek.
Horse Creek is a fantastic hot spring. The campground offers several campsite spots, and two newer outhouses.
