This natural spring water in Blount Sulphur Springs, Alabama, USA, forms a pool of fresh and clear water in the ground. In the 90s, these Sulphur Springs were a major tourist attraction in Alabama. Spring water here is believed to be a source of healing water. There was a bottling service for this healing water many years ago. Directions
When coming from New England, please head south on route 11 and continue straight for 4 miles. Upon reaching Trenton town, you will see a deviation to the right heading towards White Oak gap road just before a Mobil gas station (left). Drive straight for a while and turn left to join route 59. Continue straight for 12.9 miles, and you will see Sulphur Spring Cemetery on your right just before an intersection. Follow the road next to the cemetery and drive for 0.6 miles to reach the spot where the spring is located on your left side. The Sulphur spring is on route 738 right after Sulphur Springs Community center(right). Park your car in the parking facility and walk towards the spring.
More Details
Spring is surrounded by wood on all sides. There are multiple tiny creeks in this area. Don't let these little creeks confuse you with Blount Sulphur spring.
