Description
Spring water is pumped from the east through a PVC tube from the pine tree-covered hill to a cement storage tank. This 1981-dated tank is covered in a green-painted plywood cover. From the tank's south side, a steel pipe runs. Below the pipe, you will find slate rocks - the ideal height to fill a carboy weighing 4-5 gallons. The flow rate is approximately 1 gallon/minute. Sign says "State Vermont can't guarantee the quality and availability of water." Another homemade sign reads, "HELP keep this area clean."

The East Side of Route 12 is located in the woods north of the junction with Route 12 W. Brookfield Road & Lower Maloney Road. Look for a cement holding container with a green covering at the pulloff.
