DEP writeup of this spring is at http://www.mass.gov/dep/water/drinking/1148015.pdf. The Lanesborough Board of Selectmen temporarily halted the roadside tap for this spring between late 2008 and early 2009. This was until the bacteria count is reduced. The tap has not yet been reopened.
