Description

This address is incorrect. It's on the northern side of N. Fayston Rd. Between the Town Garage, the Cemetery. A pull off is located next to a driveway. If you are coming from Rt. 100, it's approximately 3 miles up North Fayston Rd. You will see the sign after you turn.

Description
Spring water is pumped from the east through a PVC tube from the pine tree-covered hill to a cement storage tank. This 1981-dated tank is covered in a green-painted plywood cover. From the tank's south side, a steel pipe runs. Below the pipe, you will find slate rocks - the ideal height to fill a carboy weighing 4-5 gallons. The flow rate is approximately 1 gallon/minute. Sign says "State Vermont can't guarantee the quality and availability of water." Another homemade sign reads, "HELP keep this area clean."

The East Side of Route 12 is located in the woods north of the junction with Route 12 W. Brookfield Road & Lower Maloney Road. Look for a cement holding container with a green covering at the pulloff.

Description:
The spring is not moving, but it is bubbling up and spilling over the edges of the rocks that surround it. It is not visible from the road as it is just off the side. It is located at the bottom end of a hiking path, just past a parking lot/dirt turnaround. You will find huge stones leading up to it. Be careful when approaching the spring. It is very mossy.

Keep going upward on Stowe's Mountain Road, passing the ski resort. After passing the resort, you will find the spring on the right side. Look for a turn-off/dirt parking area. There are several of them along the road. This is the third or fourth one after the resort to the right.
