It is a small spring, named after the many Turkish migrants who found their drinking water here. It is a slate- and sandstone-filtered underground reservoir.

This spring has been around for centuries. It is the reason Bad Godesberg has become a spa. Draitschbrunnen water contains a lot of minerals and is naturally carbonated. Fill your bottles with water and bring your own containers. The cost is only 30 cents a liter. It's the best water I have ever had! From Lennestadt City drive on B236 to the community "Saalhausen".
Watch out for the "Hotel Haus Hilmeke", which is on the left hand side of the road at the end. You'll soon need to turn right towards "Milchenbach".
Follow the road to a spot for hikers.
Continue on the tarred trail, following signs for "Alpenhaus".
It takes approximately. After approximately 2km, you will arrive at the spring on the left.
