Downtown Cookeville (Interstate 40 & Willow Ave SR135): 1) Continue north on Willow Ave, SR135 for 10 miles. This becomes Dodson Branch Highway. 2) After passing Anita's Cafe on the left, turn right onto Zion Road. 3) In less than half an mile, make your first right onto Albert Swift Lane. 6) Follow the road along the side and follow the trail to the mailbox or cabin. This will take you half a mile down into the hollows.

Starting from Rock Island near route 136, please start driving on Route 287, otherwise called the Great Falls Road. Head to West for a few miles and take a right to switch to Beach Road. Cross "Rock Island State Park Office and Visitor Center" and the spring pipe will be on your right a few meters ahead.

The spring pipe is located in the woods and there are a few points of interest you can visit as well. Consider going out on a clear day and avoid staying after sunset. No one has tested the water in the lab so drink at your own risk. The water source is believed to be from the river and other water bodies nearby.
