Smuggler's Notch Spring, Jeffersonville, VT

Description:
The spring is not moving, but it is bubbling up and spilling over the edges of the rocks that surround it. It is not visible from the road as it is just off the side. It is located at the bottom end of a hiking path, just past a parking lot/dirt turnaround. You will find huge stones leading up to it. Be careful when approaching the spring. It is very mossy.

Well maintained, secure and with a spout. The Johnson spring, a piped spring that runs along Main Street in Johnson (VT), is a good example. It runs every day.
