The Gorge Creek Trail can be found across Highway 1 from the Last Spike Monument in Craigellachie along Highway 1, 25.5km east of Sicamous or 8km west of Crazy Creek Falls. From the parking area walk past the restrooms and bear up the grassy hill on the path, which leads to the trail on the opposite side of the highway. Cedar Falls is found just under 1/2km from the trailhead along the loop trail - though the only views of the falls are from the east side of the loop.Cedar Falls is the second of three small waterfalls along Gorge Creek near the small town of Craigellachie. Gorge Creek plunges 28 feet into an extremely narrow alcove in such a way as to suggest the falls are bashful and don't wish to be examined. Below the falls the creek pours over a small ledge and into a large, deep blue pool which may - on a very hot day, since the water is quite cold - serve as a great swimming hole. It also happens to serve as prime breeding ground for mosquitoes in the summer months.
