Brudesløret (Bridal Veil in english) is one of a number of waterfalls which can be seen falling directly into the famous Geirangerfjorden in Stranda. Because the falls are quite tall and they fall directly into the sea, there is no easy way to take an accurate measurement, but based on one-meter topographic data it appears the falls drop approximately 310 meters (1,015 feet), with potentially more cascades hidden in the forest above the edge of the cliff.
The drainage area for the stream which forms Brudesløret is very small, encompassing not much more than a square kilometer, and in turn the falls are rather insignificant in stature for most of the year. While snow is melting they may appear respectable, but nowhere near as impressive as any of the other neighboring waterfalls such as Friaren or Dei Sju Søstre. Brudesløret like most of the other waterfalls which tumble into the Geirangerfjorden is only accessible by boat.
