Columbia Cascade
Columbia Cascade
Located just west of Yosemite Falls, Columbia Cascade is an ephemeral waterfall which falls about 1400 feet from a very small basin on the north side of Yosemite Valley. The falls only flow for a very short period during the early snow melt season and are usually dry by May.We're unsure where and when this name originated, but it seems like to stem from the proximity of the falls to nearby Columbia Point. Columbia Falls is an often used but incorrect alternate title.
