Continental Creek Falls
Continental Creek Falls
Continental Creek Falls is a roughly 400 foot waterfall where its namesake stream drops from a hanging valley to meet the valley of McDonald Creek a few miles from the Continental Divide. The falls should be visible from the tread of the former McDonald Creek Trail between Flattop Creek and West Flattop Mountain, however this section of trail was apparently abandoned in 1964 after extensive flood damage and is now said to be almost entirely reclaimed by nature, so it may prove exceptionally difficult and hazardous to access this waterfall (particularly in Grizzly Bear country).
