Mayflower Falls
Moore Gulch is one of the largest streams that needs to be forded along the Silver Creek / Mineral City trail, and right above a large waterfall no less. The creek comes sliding down a few small waterfalls (kind of like a mini version of Grant Purcell Falls), none of which are more than about 5 feet tall, then plunges into Silver Creek after bisecting the trail. During the Spring, a wall of springs further up the trail feeds a small creek that actually occupies the trail for a short section, and then drains into Moore Gulch immediately at the top of Mayflower Falls, forming an interesting segmented look. Unfortunately, unless you are skilled enough with a kayak to navigate Silver Creek, the only view of the falls is over the top.
