Roaring Brook Falls
Roaring Brook Falls
Roaring Brook Falls is said to be the tallest waterfall in Adirondack Park, with a total drop of about 285 feet in three distinct steps, the tallest individual drop standing about 140 feet tall itself. Roaring Brook drains from the west face of Giant Mountain and will be at its most spectacular during the spring and early summer months. Because of the small drainage area the falls become considerably less impressive during the summer months (save for the passing Hurricane or Tropical Depression) and may dry out completely during drought years. The falls can be seen from along Route 73 just east of St Huberts.
