Name of Waterfall

Shriner Falls

Description

The falls are located along side Highway 123 on the east side of Mt. Rainier National Park, about 6.4 miles south of Cayuse Pass. There is a large turnout on the west side of the road where you can park and view the falls.Shriner Falls occurs on one of the several small perennial streams flowing off Shriner Peak in the eastern part of Mount Rainier National Park. The falls can be seen from Highway 123 where the creek almost sprays right on to the road. The falls drop a total of about 150 feet, but the largest tier of the falls is partially obstructed due to moderate foreshortening. This is more of a pause-while-driving-by sort of attraction than anything else, so don't put too much into a stop.
