Name of Waterfall

Texas Falls

Description

This pretty waterfall, dropping into the crystal clear waters of blue green Silver Creek, is the only falls visible on the opposite side of the canyon (until the trail crosses the creek) that flows year round. Only the lower 40 feet or so are shown here, but there is another 40 feet of cascades above this portion visible a few feet further down the trail. It's possible to climb down to the creek side for different perspectives of this one.I've named the falls after an old mining claim in the vicinity, not after the state.
