Description
In the back corner is a spring house which has been used for generations by farmers. The spring continues to form the Stephens Falls near the house once it is out of the house. This area is popular with foot traffic. Large bottles will require creativity to fill. Gov. Dodge also houses two other springhouses, but Stephens' Falls is the most accessible, clean and active.
The park has a brochure that warns: "Despite it looking tempting, we recommend you refrain from sampling the water." Stephens' spring is tempting but not impossible to resist.
