
About This Waterfall
Ahern Glacier Falls is found at the head of the Belly River drainage, above the inlet of Helen Lake, in Glacier National Park. The falls drop off the plateau on the south side of Ipasha Peak which harbors the Ahern Glacier, falling a total of 1,810 feet in two parallel streams. The falls are split into two distinct tiers, the upper falling about 700 feet, and the lower about 900 feet, with approximately 200 feet of talus cascades separating the two.
