About This Waterfall
Alice Falls is located approximately one-quarter mile upstream from the Northern Loop Trail where it crosses Spukwush Creek. Though the falls are marked on several trail signs in the Carbon River area, they cannot be seen from any trail and appear to be quite difficult to access, requiring a steep scramble directly up the streambed into a very narrow canyon (this should not be attempted while the creek is running high, as a considerable amount of water comes down the Spukwush Creek drainage in the late spring and early summer months). Topographic data suggests the falls drop about 70 feet.
