Name of Waterfall

Bakers Falls

Description

From Troy, go east on Route 100. In about a half mile, turn north on River Road and drive for about 1 mile. The falls will be just below the bridge. It's possible to scramble down the steep embankment by the southern segment of the falls from an access road to the hydro facility about 100 feet south of the bridge. If you choose this access, take the right fork of the road. The Missisquoi River drops over a dam, then divides into twinned segments. One bends north, then west to drop over two falls. The southern segment flows west over two falls. The total elevation loss here is approximately 40 feet, but we suspect at least 15 feet of that is the dam.
