Ballards Falls

This appears to be a forgotten rapids on the Little Blue River. As far as the tiny hamlet of Ballard's Falls within Washington County. The river has changed course considerably since the late 1800s and early 1900s, so whether there was an actual falls or not is a hidden piece of history. Given the surrounding terrain however, it appears likely that any feature which may have at one time been considered to be a waterfall was in fact not significant enough to hold that distinction any longer, so we are marking this entry as disqualified.
