About This Waterfall
While most internet sources attribute a height of 399 meters, Google Earth's elevation profile suggests that the other figure (217 meters) is more likely accurate. The falls are clearly visible dropping over a major cliff and the elevation change is in the ballpark of 700 feet, give or take. The waters of the Budhabalanga River flow north along a broad plateau and take a westerly turn, dropping over a broad cliff face into a pool. Upon exiting the pool, the waters once again flow north through a deep valley in the Indian jungle.
