About This Waterfall

Beaver Brook is a small drainage which slides down the east flank of Mount Blue at the summit of Kinsman Notch in Woodstock. There are at least twelve distinct steps to the falls which occur one after another, the largest of which falls for around 80 feet. Measured from top to bottom the total height of the falls is estimated to be approximately 1,000 feet in about 2,300 feet of linear run, though there has been no thorough survey of the falls so the validity of this estimate is in question (it is possible it may not even be half that height).
