About This Waterfall
Not to be confused with Crabtree Falls along the Blue Ridge Parkway, this waterfall is located on private property and cannot be accessed up close (though through the tree glimpses may be available from the nearby road). The USGS Celo quadrangle marks this waterfall as Crabtree Falls, however Kevin Adams' book indicates that Crabtree Falls is the correct name for the falls further upstream which is marked on the map as Upper Falls (but known to travelers along the Blue Ridge as Crabtree Falls) - chances are the issue is a mapping error on part of the USGS.
