About This Waterfall
Big Creek is a small tributary to the Sandy River just outside south of the town of Corbett. The stream produces a waterfall about 70 feet in height about one-third of a mile from where it flows into the Sandy River. Due to the topography of the canyon where the falls are found, the only feasible access to the falls will be by shuttling across the Sandy River in a raft or canoe, and then bushwhacking upstream to the falls (private property lines the rim of the canyon, preventing views from above).
