About This Waterfall
Black Lake Falls is a snowmelt-fed waterfall found on the west wall of Glacier gorge above Black Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park. At peak flow the falls are not terribly significant, and by late summer due to the lack of permanent snow in the basin feeding the falls the stream shrivels to just a trickle, though it doesn't appear to run completely dry very often.
