Hanging colored ribbons in trees. It runs all year
Driections:
The north side of Rt. 10, just 1/2 mile north Hamden. You will find several colored ribbons on the trees.
It might be hard to identify the spring. It is best to look for ribbons in trees. It is located right next to Rt.

Pipe in stone wall. Spring can be found higher up on the hillside in a concrete Spring Box. Maintained path to spring from road approx. 30 feet from road. Visible all year.
Excellent for drinking. It runs at full volume all year, even during drought. It is cold, clear, and delicious.
Directions:
Turn left at Downsville traffic lights onto Knox Ave. It becomes County Rt. 26. Follow the road for 3 miles until you reach Dann Road. Spring is just before the intersection. Park on the shoulder.
