About This Waterfall
Historically this waterfall was known as Sunshine Falls, with the official adoption of the current name not coming until 1981. As the currently recognized name is fairly uncreative, it would reason that the USGS may not have been aware of the historic name of this waterfall when the naming decision was made, so there may be precedent for this waterfall being legitimately referred to as Sunshine Falls even now.
