Name of Waterfall

Bond Falls

Description

Bond Falls is one of the largest waterfalls in Michigan, produced where the Middle Branch of the Ontonagon River stretches to over 160 feet in breadth and tumbles roughly 10 feet, and then again for about 40 feet in a very scenic cascading formation. A dam a short distance upstream of the falls regulates the volume of the river to between half and one-third of its natural flow, but sufficient water is present all year to ensure visiting is well worth it.
