Name of Waterfall

Bowman Lake Falls

Description

This waterfall has been known by any of three different names, all of which are colloquial in origin. Bowman Lake Falls seems to be the most widely used name, as the falls are situated just upstream from Bowman Lake. Sawmill Falls stems from the fact that the stream flows out of Sawmill Lake, though it is found much closer to Bowman Lake than Sawmill Lake. Canyon Creek Falls is the least frequently used name, though still technically appropriate.
