Name of Waterfall

Bridal Veil Falls

Description

This is the major waterfall within Molybdenum Gulch, found about a mile above the Mineral City site in the Silver Creek basin. The falls should be visible from what remains of the Mineral City - Poodle Dog Pass trail but since the trail isn't maintained some views may be partially overgrown. The name of this waterfall dates back to at least 1905, possibly considerably earlier since the Monte Cristo gold boom started in the 1870s. We had seen photographs of a waterfall labeled as Bridal Veil Falls, supposedly in the Monte Cristo area, but were not able to locate it for the longest time and didn't realize that the falls we were referring to as Blackstone Falls (after the nearby Blackstone mine claim) was the same waterfall.
