About This Waterfall
Bridal Veil Falls has the unique distinction of being possibly the only waterfall in the country - perhaps the world - which you can actually drive behind. The tiny stream producing the falls slides and then plunges over a deeply undercut cliff, just wide enough that a road was able to be passed behind the waterfall. When Highway 64 was constructed, the road was re-aligned in front of the falls, however one can still take the spur loop behind the falls.
