About This Waterfall
Burnt Ranch Falls is one of several major rapids along the Trinity River which has been given a title of "Falls". The river does possess a significantly discernable vertical drop, but over the run of several hundred feet, but it appears that it is formed largely (if not entirely) by the presence of several large boulders lying in the canyon. This being the case, this entry cannot be considered to be a legitimate waterfall.
