About This Waterfall
Campton Falls is a rather significant waterfall situated along the Beebe River where it enters the valley of the Pemigewasset River in Campton. The falls consist of two distinct parts; an upper tier which cascades steeply for 18-feet over a ledge which stretches to nearly 60-feet in width, with a huge pool below (perfect for swimming on a hot summer day), and a lower pair of cascades at the outlet of said pool which drop about 10 fee each. Unfortunately because of where the trail leading down to the falls ends up along the river, and the constricted shape of the gorge below the falls, the two lower tiers are not nearly as easy to view (other than looking down from upstream).
