Canyon Hot Springs

Description
This natural spring water in Bolton Rd Spring, Tappen, Canada, flows from the top of the hill through a pipe and falls onto the ground. At the top end of the pipe, a makeshift water filter is fixed to filter out any impurities in the water. It is a public spring that has a continuous flow throughout the year. People are allowed to harvest water from this spring for free, round the clock. Water from this spring tastes great. Locals use this spring water for their needs but are not sure about the purity of this spring water. It differs from time to time according to different seasons. Even after filtering the spring water, there may still be some particles of soil or pieces of wood in the water. You may have to filter it again after you have harvested the water. This water is not recommended for drinking unless you have it tested.

Directions
If you are traveling from Carlin/Tappen, please head south on the Trans-Canada highway. Continue straight till you find Esso gas station on your left. Take the next right turn to join Bolton road and keep driving straight for 0.2 miles. You will see an intersection at the end of the road where you can find the spring on your right. The spring is situated on-road. So park your vehicle at the side of the road and fetch the spring water.

When coming from Salmon Arm, please head west on the Trans Canada highway for 8.1 miles. You will see a deviation to the left to join Bolton road just before an Esso gas station(right). On traveling further, you will see the spring on your right.

There is no limit for harvesting water in terms of both quantity and time as well. You are free to fetch water at any time you want.
