Take the Trans-Canada Highway to the town of Chase, but rather than entering the city proper, stay along the highway and turn north onto Coburn Street just west of the bridge over Chase Creek (there will be signs for the Zip Line the Chase Creek to mark the area). Go one block on Coburn, then turn right onto Paquette Street and follow it to the public parking lot for the Chase Falls trail next to the bridge over the creek. The trail runs under the highway and leads to the falls in about 300m.Chase Falls is a small but fairly attractive waterfall found just a short walk from a rest area along Highway 1 just outside the town of Chase, between Kamloops and Salmon Arm. The falls drop 32 feet within a narrow canyon, first sliding then plunging into a pool. During periods of heavy flow the creek covers the entire 80 foot wide ledge but during the summer months because Chase Creek is found in one of the driest regions in Canada it splits into two or three channels and eventually wanes into just one channel late in the season as the volume of the creek drops.
An upper falls also exist a short distance upstream, but it cannot be accessed from the trail system which is used to reach the base of the falls. There is a privately run Zip Line which descends through the canyon over the falls, which may allow a view of the upper falls, and there may also be a separate trail which leads to the upper falls from another access point (we have not yet confirmed).
