After much searching for information about local springs, wells, and wells, I found this one in Meifod. Although it took us a while to find it, I have pasted the directions from this website ...... From Meifod follow the A495 to Newbridge. Turn left just after the bridge. Continue straight ahead past Lower Hall Farm. Parking is near the gate to the left of the house. Continue on foot up the farm road with Spout Wood on your left. Turn right at the gate to Spout Wood. Watch out for the sign on the right. It marks a path that climbs uphill through the gorse bushes, before reaching the wooden footbridge.

St. Dyfnog's Church, located just off the A525 near Denbigh and Ruthin in Llanrhaeadr is next to Anvil Pottery. Parking spaces are available for those arriving by car. Go through the church gate, and then walk up through the cemetery to the right. There is an entrance in the wall at the top of the graveyard that leads to the woods. It is just a short distance to the well.
