About This Waterfall
Coon Creek Falls is a lower volume sibling to the larger Fall Creek Falls which can be seen plunging into the same amphitheater in Fall Creek Falls State Park. The falls are typically cited as falling 250 feet, however we have been advised by a climber that the falls were measured to drop 191 feet. Currently available Lidar-based topographic data supports this measurement, suggesting a drop of approximately 200 feet, so we currently have little reason to doubt 191 feet as an accurate estimate.
