About This Waterfall
Cummins Falls is the largest of four notable waterfalls along the Cummins River as it flows from the icefields of the Canadian Rockies to the waters of Kinbasket Lake. The falls drop 863 feet between Upper and Lower Cummins Lakes, flowing directly out of one and crashing in two steps before ending immediately in the other. Because Cummins Lakes Provinal Park is entirely undeveloped the only way to see the falls is either by air or an incredibly long and difficult cross country trek from the shores of Kinbasket Lake.
