About This Waterfall
Take Highway 1 to West Vancouver and exit at Woodgreen Drive (westbound will exit and immediately make a hard right, eastbound will exit, cross the highway then turn right). Proceed for 1/2 km and turn right onto Woodgreen Place, following it to a gravel parking lot adjacent to a baseball field. Follow the trail into the forest, turning left at the first junction and follow to the bridge above the falls.Cypress Falls Park boasts several small waterfalls, the largest of which is this - a fall of about 50 feet into a narrow box canyon. The falls are heavily obstructed from trailside views, because of which they are rarely photographed. The trail crosses Cypress Creek at the brink of the falls on a very ornate bridge constructed out of gnarled logs, from which one can peer over the top of the falls where the waters of the creek can be seen exploding up in a notable waterwheel effect.
