About This Waterfall
Deer Creek Falls is a remarkably easy to reach, yet entirely hidden waterfall situated just below where the Deer Creek Road crosses over the creek on its climb up to the Kelcema Lake trailhead. The falls spread out over a broad shelf and drop 33 feet in a wide, uniform horsetail type drop. Though it's literally a stones-throw away from the road, the thick immature tree growth lining the road prevents any sort of view of the falls, so even those who pass by knowning where the falls occur may have a hard time identifying the spot without getting out of the car.
