About This Waterfall
The authors of The Guide to Yellowstone Waterfalls and Their Discovery describe a spring-fed Double Falls along a tributary to the upper Firehole River, but go on to say that upon investigating in the field no waterfall could be found despite the reports from the Fish & Wildlife survey which documented the falls in the first place. It's possible the groundwater shifted and this waterfall simply does not exist any longer.
