About This Waterfall
The falls of the Duschene River are some of the more photogenic in Utah. More affectionately referred to as Cataract Gorge, the river drops through a narrow canyon carved into slabby bedrock, with several significant potholes scoured into the ledges where the falls occur. The pools at the base of the various tiers of the falls are well suited for swimming when the weather necessitates it.
