About This Waterfall
We believe this to be the waterfall which was known as Duncan Falls in the early 20th century. The falls were documented at least once by the Mazamas on a botanical expedition to Linton Meadows (then known as Lost Creek Meadows), and were specifically passed en route to what was assumed to be Lost Lake. By the accounts of the party, it seems they found a large marshy area a short distance downstream of this waterfall and never actually made it to Lost Lake, else they would likely have mentioned Linton Falls as it is substantially larger. There are several other waterfalls along Linton Creek between Linton Falls and the main part of Linton Meadows, so we may not have the proper feature named correctly here, but one of the waterfalls in this area is definitely the correct to bear the title Duncan Falls.
