About This Waterfall
Elakala Falls is one of the most well known waterfalls in West Virgina thanks to its ease of access within Blackwater Falls State Park. Three additional falls occur downstream on Shays Run which are sometimes grouped together and all considered part of Elakala Falls, but enough distance separates each drop that they should each be considered separate waterfalls on their own right.
