Name of Waterfall

Falling Run Falls

Description

Falling Run formerly harbored a small 10 foot waterfall somewhere in the last quarter mile of its run before flowing into the Monongahela River. The stream was diverted into a culvert in the mid 1920s in order to facilitate construction of parts of West Virginia University, and the falls were resultingly destroyed and presumably buried beneath fill.
