About This Waterfall
Feigefossen is a major waterfall located directly across the Lustrafjorden from the town of Gaupne. The falls are commonly cited as dropping 229 meters (750 feet), however topographic data essentially confirms that height to be a considerable overestimate. The actual height of the falls looks to be closer to 190 meters (620 feet). The Feigedalselvi is an unregulated stream and as a result the falls will exhibit a strong flow all year long, becoming exceptionally powerful during the spring melt season.
